About

Hello, gamers! My name is Edrees Almansoori, and I’m a passionate video game addict and developer in Kashkool Games. With over 11 years of experience in game addiction and creation, I’ve been harnessing my skills and expertise to bring to you unforgettable gaming experiences that truly capture the essence of enjoyment. We are utilizing Unity Technologies to create Sheba: A New Dawn, an action RPG metroidvania game.

It all started with my love for Ragnarok Online private servers using Hamachi, and from there, I ventured into creating games with RPG Maker and Game Maker. Now, I’ve taken my passion to the next level by establishing my own professional entity, dedicated to crafting games that inspire and rekindle the magic of old-school gaming.

So, join me on this thrilling adventure as we explore the limitless possibilities of gaming!

Kashkool Games

Imagine three brothers, driven by a shared passion for video games, who decided to pursue their dream of creating their own game. That’s us! After months of brainstorming and honing our ideas, we put our heads together to create a comprehensive Game Design Document for our very first game.

Game Feel book helps to understand the behavior of game objects and thus defining some parameters in the Game Design Document. It is my main reference to develop a sense of feeling by intuition.

Excitement and anticipation were in the air as we began developing the prototype. Our enthusiasm was contagious, and we poured our hearts into every aspect of the game’s design. And now, we’re thrilled to share our progress with you! You can follow our journey on Kashkool Games’ Instagram account, where we post regular updates about the game’s development. Plus, you can even play the demo on the Steam platform and experience our vision for the game firsthand.

Ragnarok Online Addiction

In 2003, I embarked on my journey into the world of online gaming with the popular MMORPG, Ragnarok Online. At first, the game’s vast world and complex mechanics were overwhelming, but after a few months, I was able to grasp the gameplay and even went on to create my own private server using Hamachi. I noticed that the game lacked quests, so I worked on providing additional quests for players, and within just two months, I was able to attract over 50 players to my server.

However, my ultimate joy in the game came from PVP battles. I relished the challenge of growing stronger and dominating in the PVP arena. In MicRO, I went by the name “DeathPaladin” and utilized a Devotion and high defense build to outsmart my opponents. By using Devotion on a professor with Energy Coat and equipping myself with Goibne’s set to reduce elemental damage, I was virtually indestructible, save for the rare occurrence of an Asura Strike.

My main fun in the game was PVP! I loved getting stronger and dominate the PVP area. In MicRO, I used to dominate the PVP area as “DeathPaladin” using Devotion and high defense build. I used to use Devotion on a professor that uses Energy coat. All elemental damages were reduced vastly with goibne’s set. With all that, using white potions allowed me to be indestructible. Only Asura Strike can do miracles 😀
